I ran into Megan by complete chance when my pup was four months old, and he is now almost five. We've been with The Houndstooth Hotel since then for both daycare and occasional boarding, and Megan has practically become a member of the family! My dog always gets so excited to go over, and with Megan only having a small number of reservations at a time, we know he will get both attention and affection AND fun play time with his friends. My dog also suffers from occasional seizures, and Megan has been a blessing in handling them when they happen. I have complete trust and confidence in leaving my pup with her -- there's no one I trust more. The fact that she also takes the best doggie photos every time is just a fun extra perk :)

The Houndstooth Hotel is a hidden gem, like a boutique hotel where you feel right at home the minute you walk in the door. Megan is the most genuine, kind, responsible, dog loving mom substitute you could ever ask for. I exhale every time I leave my dog in her care, knowing he is loved, safe, and happy. His tail wags the minute we get there and he never looks back. I can't say enough good things.​

The Houndstooth is a boutique, luxury hotel for dogs. Megan curates each stay, accepting only a small number of reservations to ensure all guests mix & mingle with ease and get the individual attention they need. It’s hard to admit, but my little guy comes back more fit, better behaved, and is literally smiling from all the playtime and long walks. An added bonus: Megan will send as many (or as few) updates as you want. A bunch of pix and vids when I’m away for work is a real boost. But on vacation, it’s nice to unplug—which we do without a single worry. We know that with Megan our little doggo is in the best, most loving and attentive hands.

Megan is the most excellent dog walker! She has been great taking care of my dog Penelope as a puppy and as she gets older almost every day. Megan is super positive, my dog loves her, and Megan always sends me great photos and an update after every walk. She is super responsive, nice, caring and available. My dog literally waits for Megan everyday with her tail wagging, waiting for her walk. I've lately tried having Megan watch the dog overnight and Megan (and her husband) have been great. I also like that Megan takes my dog on walks with other dogs so that Penelope gets used to being around other pets. I highly recommend Megan's services!

Our dog actually gets excited when we pull up to the Houndstooth hotel.
Megan and Julian take such great care of him when we're away.
They play his favorite games with him, take him on walks and we can tell he gets lots of love!
I love the photos that they send me. Our pup always looks happy and well cared for.
We hate leaving our dog but feel much more comfortable doing so since we found The Houndstooth Hotel.

Megan (and husband Julian) are truly a blessing to my life! I had just moved from NYC to LA and I had concerns / major trust issues with having anyone care for my dog (Henri) while I traveled. I decided to try Megan and Julian after a friend had recommended them and it was just perfect. You could just tell that they love dogs based on the big smiles on their faces when they saw Henri. They instantly won me over. Additionally, Henri requires oral medication (a pill) every morning and sometimes I forget to pack it. Megan is so amazing that sometimes she texts me and reminds me to pack his pills. So thoughtful! They also send daily photos of Henri and his random shenanigans (ie: long walks, sun bathing on their living room floor, chilling by the pool, sleeping, etc). Pick up and drop off's are super convenient and they are very flexible. Such a dream - highly recommend and I have already scheduled time in the upcoming months for them to watch Henri again.

Megan and her husband Julian are fantastic, warm & caring, super responsible couple.
I had a family emergency and they agreed to take my English Bulldog Kensington @12am. I received several updates via messages everyday along with pics of their time together. I will definitely be using them in the near future.

This was our second time leaving Poppy with Megan - she is the best! Her home is clean and beautiful and she explained very clearly where Poppy would be able to roam (pretty much everywhere). She took Poppy on lots of walks and sent me pictures every day. This trip I needed oral medication administered and Megan handled it no problem. Professional on every level. Such a relief to know my puppy is well-loved and in good hands while I'm away!
